These are the evil robots from Six Million Dollar Man TV show from way back. I remember they freaked me out at the time.

Fun fact... the guy robots were called "fembot" too.

I think Bigfoot is a robot created by aliens???? And the fembots are created by some evil scientist. I don't quite remember the specifics. For sure, they are different from each other.

I remember those. They were scary.

Something I loved about them, which you captured perfectly here, is how ordinary and domestic they looked, but for the open panels in their faces. Chillingly plain, with a horrifying secret. That's the stuff that gives me nightmares.

I totally agree with ya. The most scary char. designs are 90% normal and 10% of "what the frak is that?"... that's what makes a character creepy.
