AKA... Goldar (in the US), is a giant alien robot that can turn into a rocket ship. It's a manga and TV series in the 60's. Of course there's a boy that can call Golder to fight evil monsters like most of those old rubber suit monster shows. One cool thing about Goldar... his belly can open up and fire missles. :)

This is Juuust right!!!! Such nostalgia sparked up by this image. I almost like the comments as much as the art. I recall great times watching Ultraman, Space Giants, and Spectreman as kid back in the day. Great work here. :)

While i am not a huge fan of this series (just the fights lack so much but i like alot of the monsters) This is one hell of a good piece of art. You really though capture the heroic side that the show tries to convey (and probably would if it not for that idiot costum the boy has to wear...) Badass though. This is really nicely done. As far as giant live action robot series go though. Johny Sokko and his Giant Flying Robot will always be my fav.
