I found out that Alex Toth did the design for Thundarr and Jack Kirby worked on the other character designs. How cool is that?!

Loved it as a kid growing up, thanks for bring it back.
If it ever gott played into a movie
Matthew Mcconaughey as Thundarr, Before you kill me just remember the movie Reign of Fire.
Megan Fox cause she is "HOT!"
and Ookla the Mok (any good actor but have the designer who did Beast costume in X Men Frist Class).
Now I'm just putting it out there, just putting it out there.

Ahmagawd Thundarr is oen of my favorite old cartoons, I love your rendition of Ookla making him all big and more monsterous, he was my favorite character with his language of weird growls and grunts

LORDS OF LIGHT!!!Thundarr the Barbarian was one of the future ones, and the catastrophe that made it possible for him to be of that demographic was particularly catastrophic. Each half-hour episode began with a planet-size comet careening between Earth and the Moon, shattering the latter and reducing most of Earth's surface to rubble through gravity-induced tectonic stress.as if the comet were whipping a beb sheet off a bed cover.The moon,oly about five miles from the Earth. This event was said to have happened in 1994 (14 years in the future, for Thundarr's earliest viewers), and the series took place 2000 years later.

However, Thundarr still has devoted fans — so many, at the local retards home in fact, that it spawned a new toy line as recently as 2002. And even today, the show sometimes turns up on Cartoon Network or Boomerang. Yes, lets whoop it up as if it was Star Wars or as big as Conan. Get the shovel. Shovel the bullshit
Erons later,mankind was destroyed .but out of that ruins there rose a weirdo-we hero.One man who burst his bonds,because was to stupid to cash em at the bank for money.Thundarr the Barbarian.with Ookla,Fran and Ollie,and Princess Ariel they travel the world destroying everything in their path,getting no where real fast.
Nice.too bad it's Thundarr.Oakla is a bit oversized.
Starring Bruce Jenner as Thundarr.
Some guy in a big bear suite as Ookla,
And asian porn star Minka,as her first non adult film ,well maybe as Princess Ariel
